Abstract NotePresents an extensive annotated directory of online genealogy resources available through the Internet and World Wide Web. Highlights Websites offered through the Virginia Colonial Records Database Project, two Civil War-related databases (The Valley of the Shadow, and the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System), The Making of America Project, several Library of Congress projects (American Memory Collections and others), the National Archives and Records Administration databases, the volunteer and cooperative USGenWeb project, and several hotlists of links to genealogical information.
